So many people aren’t even aware we have a thymus, let alone how it can wreck havoc in our lives. And while you all might not be thinking too kindly of your thymus right now, the little thing did play a part in building our immune systems.
To bring recognition to our small numbers and maybe make more people “thymus-aware”, here’s a chance to wear a thymus support wristband. Certainly a unique and conversation-provoking wardrobe item. The lavender color represents rare cancers and the orange was in line with what the Foundation for Thymic Cancer Research is using for thymic cancer.
The wristbands come in three sizes: medium, large, and extra-large. They are available for a donation to help cover their cost and shipping: at least $2.50 for a single band, $10 for a set of five. This includes postage.
All suggested donations include shipping to the United States. If you are located outside of the U.S., please email me so we can arrange the proper shipping.
All donations are tax deductible to the International Thymic Malignancy Interest Group.
To order wristbands, then email Pam Bruce at firstname.lastname@example.org indicating the sizes.
